Hi,

Anyone know how to turn off the service inspection notice without going to the stealer?

I've got a '98 A4 with trip computer.

Bearboy,

What service inspection are you getting? I believe there are 3, on mine there is anyway.

You have Oil, In1 and In2

Depending on what one is displayed you have to press the 'right' button until the desired one is displayed and then pull the clock button to reset it.

Give it another go incase it works.

i just tried it on my 99 a4 with trip and it has worked! no more annoying insp light for me because they never reset it on my service! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
