Thought this might be of help/interest to B6 Cabriolet owners who have upgraded to 18 inch wheels

Audi recommended cold tyre pressures for tyre size 235/40R18

4 Cylinder models

2 persons F/R 2.5/36 2.5/36
4 persons F/R 2.9/42 2.9/42


6 Cylinder Models

I'm trying the 6 cylinder front and back pressures of 41 psi although this does seem very high, I was running at 37 front and 33 back before and have 235/40/18s.

So far the car does seem to have stiffened up a little but I'll reserve judgement until a few more mixed miles have passed. Overall I find the ride could do with the edge taking off it as our local roads are falling apart and I am sick of steering around holes and ruts - seriously considering reverting to 17"s!

sallon / avant likely to be a shade lower as they're lighter cars...

Have decided to go back to my old lower pressures, as 41 psi in the front tyres made the steering too light imo.
