S3 Sportback Facelift - Bulbs

Hi,

I went to have a look at my new S3 today, it had just arrived at the garage, still had all the protective wraping on it. Still looked amazing! Just waiting for the rest of the work to be done to it now!

In regards to the bulbs:

What is the fitment for the front indicators?

What is the fitment for the front fog lights?

I had a look at the new facelift headlight casings and they dont seem to have a high beam bulb, just a big xenon! Is this right? Does the Xenon's do everything?

Looking at the latest version of the parts catalogue...

The front fog lamp buls are: H11-12v-55w

The indicator bulbs are: PSY24W

And Yes, the Bi-Xenon unit provides both main and dip deams in the same unit.

Interesting.

I have had a look round the internet and i cant seem to find a clear virsion of the PSY24W.
Is it a very new type of bulb?
Or is it just another code for bulb that has been around?

Just recieved a pair of Osram H11 Night Breaker bulbs in the post today, off to the dealers now to get them fitted in the car while they are working on it!

Orange ones really do spoil the whole look of the front end!

I managed to find some chrome replacement front indicator bulbs for my facelift S3 (PSY24W SV) on Ebay after looking for them for AGES. They are a BMW part 63217161306 and they cost around £18 each. x
