Tail lights query?

How many different varients of the 99> tail lights are there?

Been told by a couple of people there is more than one. If anybody has any pics and if poss part numbers I would be eternally gratefull. I might even offer my wife for loan! lol

98/99 pre facelift have grey tinted reverse lights, 99/00 post facelift have clear reverse lights, but both have same overall design

So there's only one set of 99> lights then?

94>96 Square reverse lamp
96>99 Wide indicator smoked reverse light
99>01 Wide indicator clear revers light, reverse and indicators swapped positions.

Euro Car Parts for £28 a pop then seeing as Audi want £56 a pop

fitted aftermarket ones to mine, came wired for 96, so had to open car harness plugs and swap reverse/indicator connections around

went for the crystal red/clear ones, about £50 german ebay

They are what i have, went straight on my 98, but it could be because i had Facelift lights on mine and had to switch the wires for those

ive swapped brake/rear light and fog light bulb holders around, reckon there better with brake/rear light up top, also added red coloured 501 bulbs to third brake light as it looked a bit pink when lit compared to main lights

Cool, i left mine with the Fog up top, i like the fog light to be seperate.
