Hi peeps,

Just nosing around in my engine bay and noticed that I could see my flywheel by peering down from above:

You can see the teeth of the flywheel through a round hole in the casing.

If somebody could please pop out to their car and tell me if you can see what I'm seeing, it'd be much appreciated! I can't imagine this is normal as it's surely inviting water andother crap into the clutch assembly!

Edit - By the way, this is where the first photo is taken in case it wasn't clear, looking down in the gap between the intake fanimold and the engine block, on the right-hand side:

Cheers,
Andy

there is a rubber bung that fits in there you remove it too see the timing marks on the fly wheel . the bung is usually on a retaining piece so should be hanging about there some where if not i would get a new one and cover the hole up just incase something gets in there

Thanks for the quick response matey! Have had a nosey around and can't see a bung anywhere so I'll get the garage to fit a new one when they do my clutch next week.

Cheers fella.
