How to jack up an A3?

Sorry if this is a silly question but I know there's a reinforced section in each corner of the car and Haynes says not to jack it anywhere else. But where do you guys jack the car up before putting axle stands under the reinforced area?

I jack mine on the rear beam at the back. At the front if you look under the car near to the subframe mounts behind the wheel, there is a bit sticking down about an inch or so with a hole in the middle.

It fits well in the pad on my trolley jack so it can't slide off.
