What parts are you aware of that are near enough direct replacements but are an improvement over the orginal part.
E.g the n75 j version boost control valve. Or I have heard that the aeb inlet manifold has larger ports over later models.

miltek not really as thats an aftermarket part.

I am meaning which parts from newer or higher models are straight fit onto older cars to improve the OEM+ style

yep.from a facelift B5. I have them in mine, simple to wire then push right in/Looks good with the W8 interior light as it has the ambient leds

got an s4 front bumper for mine once i get the mounts as well, i blame that one on you.

o.e upgrade; just bought the genuine parts for front strut brace, A6 mounts and s4/v6 tdi brace bar, think it added up to about £55 but bar needs re-drilling to fit another one ive heard of is the s4 vented inner wheel arch added to 1.8t's

A mod that some people with S4/RS4 are doing is installing VW Phaeton air ducts to cool the front brakes.

Not had a chance to put the pics up yet.

The II is the CD player with the big screen in the middle and two twist nobs each side. Common in the newer A3s A4s etc.

So is a Concert II a Concert II or do I need one from a particular model for it to be an exact fit? Is it an exact fit?

The ones in the TT's look like a like grey other than black like my current Concert, but if it fits correctly I rather fancy it.

Do we know if my current Audi CD changer will work with the Concert II?

I think I read somewhere that Concert II stereos will only fit in Facelift cars with CANBUS. Maybe you can get an adaptor, but if you're going to start paying out extra for stuff like that, you're probably better off looking at a Becker unit.

I got a bus simulator from Germany and got the concert unit from ebay there are a few types as some have the slanted edges and some dont i managed to get one that was the straight edges the same as the concert radio.
