Hi , New to the forum. Have a 1999 T reg S3, standard apart from Forge DV and superchip taking it to 270 BHP. I am getting juddering through the sterring wheel when braking hard, I also get a knocking from the drivers side going over bumps. Have changed the near side top mount and bearing but have a replacement for the drivers side to do. Checked the ARB bushes and wish bones and they don't appear to be perished.

Any ideas. Wicked forum by the way.

Welcome to the Forum mate. Vibration can be due to a number of things on the S3, likely causes are warped disks, possibly poorly balanced or buckled wheels or knackered bushes on the trackarms.

They dont always have to be visibly perished for them to be the cause of your knocking noise when going over bumps.
