OK, its now time to start tweaking the Nov 2003 A4 2.5TDi Avant Quattro Sport - there is a LOT of references to VAG COM in the B6 forum...

Did a search on E-bay - lot of VAG COM stuff on it....

Question is what do I buy, what version of software should I use - any recommendations where I should purchase my VAG COM cable & Software..

Cheers y'all

Got my non-genuine lead from Gendan. They also do geniune ones with software.

Bought my cable from Ebay, its identical to the USB cable on the ecufix website & cost 1/2 as much!! You dont need to get an official cable at all, get a USB KKL cable from Ebay, install the driver, download vagcom 409.1 from www.rosstech.com, select a port number for the cable & your good to go.

I found a genuine Ross-tech cable on ebay. It allows all control modules to be accessed (those available on car anyway) and is good for realtime data monitoring... Output tests can be run which are good.
