Hi, I replaced the oil filter housing gasket today on my 2017 S5 B9 and thought the oil filter looked a bit old. I could be wrong. The car had an 'inspection with oil change' in February just before I bought it. Does the filter look 2 months old/ 1500 miles?

Thanks!

old not odd :) it looks quite dark (to me) and the same with the oil. Not sure what to expect hence reaching out to the masses

Oh sorry I misread, not sure it looks really old tbh, it's not super dark.

Just do a change & maybe check it again in few months.

Assuming you're not having any engine issues.

Lol fair point.

I'll be honest, doesn't look too bad, it's a hell of an engine, lovely power, I love the S5 sportback, it's stunning on the road.

Was it an Audi dealer service or indy?
