I'm financially fine paying £70pm, but would take a hit if I have to spend £2k for an unexpected failure, not sure how good value that is honestly. But I suppose just a clutch replacement would cost
2017 Audi A4 1.4 TFSI with 58k miles on the clock.
I suppose these things are down to your attitude to risk. Audi have an online form - add in your registration, confirm any excess you'd likely pay, proposed annual mileage and it will quote you.
If it was a diesel for example, then at this age it's definitely worth having all component cover with faults that effect DPF, EGR, Ad Blue, etc. I got all component cover on my 2017 3.0 TDI (272) for 2 years, not from Audi but from a specialist. The only drawback is I can't tinker with the car (as I'm usually spanner handy), but as long as you use genuine Audi parts and get the stamp you're fine. I had a 2012 Allroad and the turbo failed prematurely at 70k miles, so these things do happen.
I wouldn't have thought the clutch would be a particular issue, give your mileage unless you tow? If it was main dealer - you're probably looking at circa £1500, where as an independent could do it for half that amount.
Other things to consider will be timing belt renewal (would usually include water-pump but I think it's on a different part of the engine) which are scheduled service items and I believe Audi say 140k miles for toothed belt, but better to use the approach of every 5 years rather than ruin your engine.

Think I read about brake sensor pressure sensor issue to that effects this car, as well as others, and definitely not one to be ignored as it it cooks the ABS pump.

Keeping annual oil changes every 8-10k miles is half the battle.
