Hi, bought a non running 2010 tfsi manual, engine turns over but does not fire, put a very basic code reader on and it stated all plugs not firing, checked them out and sure enough no spark, checked the coils out and they are all good, then checked that there was 12v getting to the coils and all good there, so looked at the cam position sensor and it would appear that there is no 12v supply getting to it, the other two wires give a reading of around 4.8v.
Does anyone know where the feed to the cam position sensor comes from and is it testable? I did check all the fuses (four different fuse box locations) and they are all good, not one fuse failed. Also checked the relay supplies under the scuttle panel and they all had power, don’t know if the relays actually work as yet.
