Heater core pipes... can someone please help

replaced the matrix and simply cannot get the pipes back on its the aluminium clamps aswell.

HELP!

Maybe adjust the matrix position as it maybe of center for the pipes, assuming it's the same unit, can be a bit fiddly, also add some lube like neat coolant on the ends.

go it on, absolute PIG of a job, horrible horrible horrible, as you can see i ended up wrecked the lips of the pipes but surprisingly no leaks. Seems to have helped the issue with the heating but still not as warm as id like it

You think that's a pig, try removing the 4 way thermostatic valve on an Audi A3 cbab engine as I did today, now that was a pig & then some.
