I’ve got a strange issue with my 2008 2.7tdi auto multitronic.
When accelerating hard, this could anywhere from pulling out of a junction to cruising on the motorway, sometimes the revs just drop to around 2.5-3k and the car stops accelerating for a few seconds , even with my foot flat on floor. It then decides to jump back into life and slowly starts picking up speed again. The best way I can describe it is It almost feels like the car is being choked and then released.
I’ve had it scanned at a local garage and there are no fault codes coming up and no EML on either.
has anybody had an issue like this or shed any light as to what they think it could be.
