Retrofitting heated seats in my car using the Kufatec seat wiring looms however having followed all the instructions including coding it, I have the following error message:
133899 - Voltage Supply; Terminal 30 for Seat Heaters
B1411 13 [009]
- Open Circuit
It is wired as per the Kufatec instructions but they don’t appear to be correct for UK cars.
Plug A pin 2&5.
Plug A pin 1 to fuse carrier. (SC26).
Plug C pin 40, 43, 56.

Coding doubled checked, fuse fine and heated seat buttons go on and off ok but no heat in seats.

Can anyone confirm the correct wiring
Thanks.

Hi Michael

I've literally got the same issue, did you manage to find a solution?
I'm suspecting the fuse SC26 needs a constant live as it was vacant before.
So just by adding Pin No1 and 20 Amp fuse to the fuse box as per instructions won't power the seats as a live is missing

Need to make sure you have a central electric module (09) that supports heated seats. Needs coding also.
That's what I thought, my bcm doesn't have pin 1 that goes to the fuse box, so your right. Did you replace it ? Found on ebay part number 5Q0937084AS which has the missing pin 1, and also I've seen people coding it using vcds copy/past old bcm coding to the new one

Am a professional retrofitter / site sponsor, have done this loads :)

Cannot just swap the module and past coding in. There are adaptations and component protection (anti theft protection) to deal with also.

Am based in north London if you would like professional help with your project.

Hi DJalix that would be great iam interested, if I source out the BCM off ebay, would you be able to remotely remove the protection?

i have a company that I work with in derby who can do this for you. Remote works would require you to have a specialist vehicle interface to allow me to connect. Pm me and I will send details of my partner company.

That's great, I don't have an option to PM yet, you can send me the details via email if that's ok

Hi, I have exactly this problem. Fitted S3 heated leather seats to 2014 1.6tdi. I have BCM 5Q 093 7084 AG but need BCM 5Q 093 7084 AS for heated seats to work. I can buy one from ebay but it will need CP removed. I'm in N Ireland. Can you help on this issue or have you any suggestions as to who/where I can get this sorted.
