A3 2.0 tfsi ccza Timing chain issue 2.0

The car is out of timing it was rattling really bad, more that likely bent valves. Altering taking timing cover off at bottom saw the bigger metal piece and cam bridge saw the smaller metal piece in one of the oil ways. Does anyone know what it is

It looks like it has a an rubber O'ring on the top so i would hazard a guess it has been sealing something . Other than that its a piece off metal

It looks simillar to a part off my Vap , the top part off my chamber .
