Wheel colour swop or leave original?

After an altercation with a flood and new mini roundabout I needed to buy a replacement wheel.

The one I purchased needed a bit of TLC before going on, I was intending to have them all refurbed in spring anyway.

After doing a touch up I quite like the none diamond cut brightness of the wheel, so got me thinking should I refurb in full anthracite / gunmetal for that full Black Edition look?

The car is a Black Edition!

I know it's personal choice but I always value fellow A3 enthusiasts opinions, never know when I may need to sell to accommodate the R8

Ignore the finish, masking tape still on before I cut the overspray off!

Downside with diamond cut is that it will tarnish over time - I have had a couple sets of wheels done for clients and they have brought them back to me after a year showing signs of tarnishing. Nothing to do with the work done on them, its just the way it is if wheels are continually refurbed and not washed/cared for/treated properly over time.

Personally I would just paint them - will cost less and last longer
