Hi, my drivers door hinge gives a loud pop/crack noise when it reaches those couple of points when it can hold itself open, if that makes sense.
It happens on opening and closing and I can see that the arm of the hinge where the bolt is moves at the point when it makes this noise. I havn't taken it into Audi yet for them to have a look as it's a bit of a pain to get to them and if it's something easily sorted without going then I'd rather look at that. Husband tightened the bolt up a few months ago when it first happened and that sorted the noise, but it's returned so that obviously didn't give me a permenant solution.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue and was it an easy fix?
The car is an approved used (still within the period) A3 2019 Cab.
Thanks for any thoughts or advice.
