Hi, i've got a k04 1.8t (225 usa audi tt, same as euro a3 8l chassis).
stock engine/turbo.
tune, decat, big tip.
So lately I get low boost. My tune requests like 19psi. but I only see 16 max.
and it's getting worse. it takes forever to spool, and only hits max boost at like 5.5k or 6k. and even then it's only 14psi.
I tested it with the wastegate hose unhooked and no improvement (should be unrestricted maximum boost, like dangerous ammounts of boost).
I tested the cranking pressure by keeping the wg hose plugged in, but unplugging the electrical plug to the n75.
got 5-6 psi at around 5k (seems normal, but maybe still laggy).
So the noise! I hear a weird "burbling" noise. Like a rattle, but not metal rattling, more like plastic or rubber rattling.
This is while applying throttle.
Also with the wg hose unhooked I heard a ton of air being blasted out of the diverter valve.
Any ideas? I'm going to try swapping my dv right now.
I don't think there are any boost/air leaks, as I just checked that recently.
