Looking for some advice, when hoovering the car at the weekend, i scratched the black trim around the auto gear stick and the ashtray cover behind that.
What the best way to remove them????
Thanks Dodge

Difficult one, as some hard plastics can be polished quite effectively, but others don't always respond well. Can we have a picture of the damage please, plus how bad are the scratches? Minor scuffs or deeper?

In a word no, it took loads of pics but done of them show the marks...
There are a few, they seems very light, and none deep.
I guess the trouble is, that it's a high glass finish, and that will show marks...

Will try tonight when it's dark, maybe that will be better???
Thanks Dodge

I take it you have the piano trim interior? The gloss black surround?

Yes , someone said to me to try caravan plastic glass cleaner...
Anyone tried this??

How about Meguiars PlastX plastic polish - works quite well usually. Other very fine finishing polishes should also work well on this type of hard, glossy plastic - Menzerna Final Polish II would be a good choice for sure. :)
