Hi there,

I'm looking at a 2013 A4 (B8) 2.0 TDIe SE saloon on 100k, local to me as a cheap runabout and I'm wondering if you kind folks could let me know of anything I need to look out for on this model.

Are there any issues with this de-tuned (134bhp) version of the 2.0 CR diesel engine?

If I find that its too slow can it be mildly mapped without ruining the clutch/flywheel?

Does the 2013 SE spec car come with satnav as standard?

The standard 17 inch wheels do look at bit like milk bottle tops - can you fit 18 or 19 inch Audi wheels onto this car without any issues, with it being the slightly lowered 'e' model?

What are the service intervals on the timing belt/water pump on this 134bhp engine?

Anything else I should be looking out for?

Hope you guys can help :D

Hi,

Firstly, it’ll be a B8.5.

Is it SE or SE Technik? Get the Technik if you can stretch. Sat Nav would be included with that, not sure about SE.

Ignore official Audi advice on cam belt. I got mine done at 60k. About £400 at a good Audi indie including water pump.

The 134bhp engine won’t blow you away, but torque is more than adequate for most driving. Look for clutch judder, quite common.
