Hope, you are all having a wonderful Sunday afternoon quick question general tailgate adjustment stop buffer how to move in or out any help gladly appreciated as I have just installed a new tailgate to my 1997 8l doner car was 1999 S3 https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+a3+s3+sportb+lim+qu/a3/1997-201/8/827-827020/#45 part 45 stop buffer adjustable also what is the purpose of the hinge spacers thanks in advance @MPH

Hi dude, I’m pretty sure you adjust it by twisting it in and out....... like a screw. Anti clockwise out and clockwise in.

That's what I thought but they are square and don't seem to go anywhere hence my problem thanks for your information

Just thought I would tell the answer to this problem pulled the rubber off then there is a hex metal grub screw within, loosening this and it then is free to move up and down for adjustment purposes
