Xenon match DLR bulbs?

With the days getting progressively longer (ultimately 24 hours) and the need for my xenon lights goes down, I'd like to replace the DLR bulbs with something that doesn't look like parking candle lights from a horse carriage.
I've done a lot of searching and I can't seem to find anything that is road legal (ECE-approved).
PIAA bulbs aren't available in my country and import duties are crazy right now.
Does anyone know of a good option?
Do they make good LED-bulbs now with built-in resistors that won't make a porridge out of the housing?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've got a pair of Osram LEDs in mine (2011 facelift)

They are OK but not quite as bright as I was hoping for.

I've looked at them and they are unfortunately not road legal and will get my plates put in safe storage at the local police station (although loads of people drive with main beams and fog lights at night here, because they think it looks "cool".)

it's a shame you can't get them because they are really good bulbs, worth the money when I think about how much I spent on other bulbs that weren't any good.
