Fault code 01794 - Control Module Incorrect Chassis (VIN) Number

I have just replaced a faulty 09 Central Electronics Module.

All works fine and new (s/hand) module was recoded to match originally fitted module.

I have just 1 fault code as above.

I read that I can put a value in Channel 81 for this module that will make the module learn the vin number.

I have viewed this channel under adaptations BUT the procedure says to put the new value in the “NEW VALUE” field.

Problem is, that field is greyed out on my VCDS display window.

Do I have to Login to the 09 module to get access to the “NEW VALUEL field?

If yes, how do I find out the Login number?
