u have to press that wide-loong button above steering wheel haha and it will show for 1 two secs? I know annoyng at least 5 secs audi should do hahAm I mistaken? I think that counter is the number one mileage reading.
Doesn’t range have a fuel icon next to it?
Can’t be bothered to go out to the garage to check though
People who have S3's should put high octane fuel in as standard. This thread is about how far I had to go just to get shell v power from where I live. In total I did just over 20 miles from home to the petrol station and to work which was back the same way I came from. 15.5 miles out and 4.7 back to work. I'm on stage 2 and been advised to stick with V power. Not about tank range. Sorry if I've confused anyone.
I was using tesco momentum. When I got it mapped I did fill it with tesco. When I went back to Turner race developments and I mentioned I'd filled with tesco, I thought I was going to have to get the defibrillator out. They said no way. Tesco is 95 with additives to make 99. So v power at 145.9 it is.People who have S3's should put high octane fuel in as standard.
It shows preferred octane rating as the first number......
Not my pic by the way. Aren't there any other fuel stations closer ie Tesco's Asda ect? To be honest I only put V power in the tank for the first couple of years ownership. Then changed to Tesco's Momentom 99 octane. Didn't notice any difference in using either other than Momentom is much cheaper than V power.
Wow...Didn't know that. To be fair I've been running Momentum now for two years and no issues...Will have to look into it and see what's what. Cheers buddyI was using tesco momentum. £1.45 ! That’s what we pay around here for normal unleaded. Unless we travel 10 to 15 miles round trip to a supermarket.I was using tesco momentum. When I got it mapped I did fill it with tesco. Always used Tesco 99 or equivalent and never had issues with any of my cars. At least 10p per litre premium for V Power, no thanks!I was using tesco momentum. Well yeah if monies are no problem.. I gotta do all stuff wisely house , family etc..Gotta say at no point whist getting to stage 2 did I ever stop and think or care about fuel consumption. It uses it, I fill it. I'm happy. Were all happy. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and put my foot down. Money well spent.

Additives contain metals which damage catalytic converters. What’s the science behind the additives being bad? I thought people who run 100+ octane use momentum/V power + additives?
