Afternoon all,
One of the key fobs (we have 2) pretty much had none existent buttons and a dead battery, so ordered a replacement fob off eBay.
Initially when I did the swap over I ported over the circuit board. When trying the fob the doors would lock/unlock but the car would start/stall then go into SAFE mode.
Having read the forum I completely ignored the transponder so carefully took it out from the original key and placed into the new fob.
However the outcome has reversed. Now I can't lock/unlock car via key fob, however I can start/drive the car as per normal (without going into SAFE mode)
Via Google have read and watched a few different reprogramming procedures. Followed this one and but can't get it work. Have now gone into a rabbit hole and tried two different videos (link 1, link 2) but again no idea.
Has anybody had experience in doing this could point me in the right direction?
