I cant really it's gearbox oil but it looks like a fine silver metal flake I thought it was a new sort of oil but my spanner man said otherwise he can't look at it for a week thought I would try to get a bit of info
Never seen oil with metal particles in it before - the metallic in it is more than likely metal that should still be attached to the internal parts of the gearbox. Some gearboxes (as well as engines) will have a magnet inside that these metal flakes should stick to which keeps them out of the oil and stops them causing further wear to other parts of the gearbox.
Now whether it's a case that the magnet isn't there (if it had one) or the gearbox is wearing excessively, only an internal inspection of the gearbox would possibly tell you. Fingers crossed it's something easy to sort.
