Hi all I’m looking at doing some work to a 2014 2.0tdi. I want to keep it looking fair standard on the exterior but put some time and money into the performance side of things. Problem is I’m struggling to find parts such as induction kit, anti roll bars etc online. Could someone point me in the right direction of parts needed to push it to around 240 brake and also improve braking and handling? Thanks Josh

Stage 1 remap will get you 200 bhp give or take with stock parts . Revo and APR sell induction kits online that fit straight into an A3. Quick Google search should give some results .

EBC brake pads are a good upgrade and I'm sure they do uprated discs too. Best bet might be too get in touch with a tuning specialist that can give more advice and point you in the right direction.

Which 2.0 tdi do you have?
150,170,177,190bhp?
I had the 190 in an old a6 and quick remap/chip will make 230+bhp
Induction kits and filters in a diesel, in my opinion, is a waste of time unless you are going down the route of big turbo and big injectors. Diesels by default have excess air that’s why a lot of cheap chip boxes can simply dump extra fuel in and make extra power.

Defo interested in this too. Iv got the 190bhp 2.0tdi in my Q2 which i guess is the same as the A3. any remap info would be great.

I spoke to MRC Tuning a while back and they said they can get 195 - 200 bhp from a 150 ps 2.0 TDI with a stage 1 map . The bigger improvement is in torque , don't remember the exact figure but it was a huge jump in pulling power .

They charge £500 but they do put the car on the Dyno and tune specifically to your car , not just a generic flash and off you go . Should really pull my finger out and get it done.

I had the dtuk chip and that worked a treat. Car felt much quicker. Didn’t keep the car long before I got the 3.0 tdi

Should have said earlier it’s the 150bhp one.

Limitations of the 150 is probably the small turbo and injectors if you are looking for mega power. 200 as said above is easily achievable any more it’s gonna get expensive.
