A6 All Road (2015) replacement air suspension compressor recommendation?

Hi folks,

sad face; my beloved A6 all road suspension died — looks like the compressor (only 4 years old!) and I need a new one.

The official Audi part is > £1k + vat, which is crazy expensive.

Looking online it’s reasonable to presume that an after market option might be available, but i’ve no idea who to trust.

I’d greatly welcome a recommendation, if you have one please.

Are you sure it’s the pump and not a leak in the system somewhere?

Has it been diagnosed and tested?

The Audi price is probably for the complete unit (Item #1 here) since they don’t list a separate part number just for the compressor.y

If you find a recommended Indy specialist, these units are repairable.

Audi say the fuse had blown and the pump is reading a too high resistance - presumably the motor has burnt out . I’ve not yet tried just replacing the fuse.
