Has anyone bought from ASDA Tyres before? I've seen people talking about it on a fair few forums now and never tried it. I don't know a lot about tyres so I was just asking for a bit of advice on getting tyres of my own really.

I've typed my reg in on asda and it's shown me a few tyres that it recommends. My question is what out of these would you recommend for an A4? (https://www.asdatyres.co.uk/235-40-18?speed=w&load_index=91) Or, even better, where is better to buy tyres for an Audi A4? Should I go to some specialist tyre fitter?

Camskill
Oponeo
BlackCircle
MyTyres

Search these sites above for best price, fitted or just delivered. I get mine fitted at £40 for 4. Select fitted prices if you don't already know a place that will fit tyres you supply. Some places are funny.

My personal choice is Uniroyal Rain sport 3... They are not just for the wet.

I'll second the UniRoyals, great all round tyre.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll definitely have to take a look into those UniRoyals :)

Does it not work the same way as Blackcircles? i.e you have the tyre delivered to one of there garages thats close to you that subscribe to the scheme?.

I've ordered today from black circles, got two Uniroyal fitted for about £260 and I'm booked in for Friday morning, they just send the tyres out to your chosen garage, also on Quidco if you bother with any of that. Got my 1.5% cashback!

My car come with Michelin pilot sport.

Can't wait till they wear out and I can fit my Uniroyal.

Camskil are worth a look at for Uniroyal.

Yes, been there done that, I thought that I had a agreement with my local guy as I thought giving them the job of fitting the tyres was at least giving them some work out of my tyre changing task - seems like I had only talked to the monkey, not the organ grinder!! On a happier note, they are now my local tyre place for MyTyres, so no more trouble as long as they remain listed on MyTyres.com, only pain in the neck thing was, I tried to get a set of allseasons tyres for my daughter's Ibiza delivered just before its MOT which this garage were handling - tyres were being delivered as I dropped the car off, tried booking the tyres change in for that day, "not possible as the tyres have not been entered into our stock book as being delivered!" - so that car got an advisory on every tyre, which was fair enough and they eventually accepted my tyre fitting booking for the next day.
