Problem fitting stereo

Hi Guys.

I have a 2003 A4, yesterday my symphony headunit stopped working. So I went out and bought a new Sony head unit, along with the fascia plate and a wiring loom adapter.
Here’s the proble. Everything fitted exactly as it should apart from I have no power to the stereo?
On the wiring loom adapter there is 5 pins, on my original Audi loom it has 4 pins only 2 of these connect to the adapters pins?
Please can anyone advise me on if I need to move any of the other pins? If not, what do I need to do to get power to the new head unit?

You need an ignition live

Ps did you check the fuses etc for the original headunit too ?

I’m sure the newer B6 units are switched on via can-bus. So there is only a 12v constant and can hi-lo. As mentioned above. Wire in a 12v ignition feed.
