Someone keyed down both sides of my car (57 reg a6 avant ) they are deep scratches will insurance repair the damage

Report it to the police and get a crime ref, They should repair this as long as you have fully comp insurance however you will have to pay the excess and you will need to declare it when you next insure the car which may affect your next premium.

Is it the full length of the car, if so then I would say 50/50, but it depends on the quotes, then condition & mileage of the car which will affect the value. At worst you should be able to buy the car back from the insurance company have have the car repaired yourself. However your then looking at a recorded category to the car which will have a impact of the value of the car if you ever come to sell it on.
