Best way through firewall??

Been looking through all different things online on how to get a cable through the firewall from the engine bay into the drivers footwell but it mainly comes up with LHD cars. I know theres a small cover to break through in the footwell, just wondering if anyone with experience of doing it had any tips for the best way running the cables through or knows of any other ways of doing. Any help or photos would be much appreciated, many thanks

Remove the scuttle panel. Then unscrew and remove the top of the ECU box and the ecu can then carefull be slid out. Underneath where the ecu sits is a decent size hole to access the drivers footwell

Thank you so much, had a look at the ECU box first but didnt go too deep into it for fear of damaging it. Will give it a try again in the morning.
