The exhaust tips on my S4 had a lot of burnt on tar. I've been putting it off but finally got on with it. Washed, CarPro Trix, washed again, Autosol and finally two coats of Planet Polish Wheel Seal & Shine.

Afters.

@scotty76 - Great job mate !
Exhaust tips on the Cupra are brushed stainless steel as opposed to chrome which makes the cleaning a bit easier
Still going the Britemax twins route

Fantastic job there, the S4 is a nightmare on stains and crud on the exhaust pipes.

I have just bought a couple of foam cones to have another go at mine.

My least favourite job but the chrome exhaust tips can be taken off and real proper like a wooden mallet does the trick

Nice job, once you're on top of them they clean up easier.

Yeah I try to keep on top of it as prevention is definitely better than cure but a weekly wash is not quite enough. I'll try not to leave it so long next time. :)
