Puddle lights coding

Evening all,

Today i fitted puddle lights in my doors but a they arn't working, does anyone know if they need coding or how to do it? Had a look on VCDS and couldn't work it out.

I used Pin 21 as ground and wired the lights into Pin 13, the car is a 03 plate. I have had the door completely unplugged but still no joy.

On another note does anyone know what pin the door handle lights wire into? had a look on elsawin and it looks like they are wired with the illumination on the electric window switches but read somewhere they go into the 32pin connctor, any ideas?

No they shouldn't need coding. Here's a guide on fitting them but pictures are missing.

Thank you for the guide, thats the one i followed although have just noticed it says no coding is required at the top.
