A6 s line cd issue

hi all. Of course my Audi starts playing up now I have it up for sale
6 disc CD player in glove box, the other day I put a new cd in and it stopped half way through, since then basically no matter what CDs I put in in any order it's saying 1 and 6 are unreadable....what's this all about?

So I tried a cd cleaner, all was good for a few days now it's doing it again......has anyone come across this before?

not in audi tho, however i've read that cleaning CDs will damage the laser itself so don't try it unless told otherwise by someone who has 100% knowledge about it.

I have already tried the cd cleaner as above post states, well I am now going to remove it and send it away for checking, I will be sure to post up my results seeing as all I can find online is people having the same problem but no- one posting how to fix it!

Take it out and clean the laser. Also are th3 cds original or recorded yourself ? Recording on the lowest speed helps

You may find its cheaper to pay £70 for a secondhand unit off ebay than get it fixed

If you have to buy a replacement CD-Changer then you also need to add the cost of removing component protection.
