A Reminder to all!

Hi all

So a bit of a bad luck story and a gentle reminder.

Driving home Friday to see my temp needle rise. I knew my thermostat was on it's way out but decided it could wait until I found the time.

Big! Mistake

Head gasket gone, thermostat failed!

So a bill for 766, almost what the cars worth ( maybe more)

So any of you with a stuck open thermostat.. get that ******* changed!!

Bad luck,so often you can get away with it. Another remainder would be to change hard to get at items if doing say timing chain or water pump etc.

Yes mate failing to open. It was running too cold for weeks and suddenly went the opposite way!

New head gasket, turbo seals cambelt water pump thermostat oil coolant etc etc
