Hi everyone was looking at manifolds on eBay today how easy are they to change and is it worth it was also looking at down pipes engine code is apu cheers

No point changing the stock manifold. Aftermarket ones are all hopeless and crack in about 5 minutes and the stock one flows plenty for the stock turbo.

Same with the cat/downpipe really, its no restriction for the stock parts.

Maybe I should think about doing the intercooler

Remap it and enjoy.

A remap will see about 190hp.

A remap, manifold, exhaust, decat, intercooler, cone filter and everything else you can think of, will see about 195hp.

The turbos on these cars are tiny, and are the limiting factor.

The intercooler might be worthwhile, but thats about it IMO unless your going to upgrade the turbo.

Exactly what aragon says. Mine remapped from 150 to 180 and then a few other bit of tweaking (Miles, decat, air filter and intercooler) took me to pretty much bang on 190.
