Hi All,
not sure if this is a simple RTFM, or something a bit weirder .....
Since picking up the S3 a couple of weeks ago - Google maps loaded really quickly/started up without any hesitation/cut over to the Satellite map view after a couple of minutes.
Was out yesterday evening, and Maps seemed to disappear/Virtual Cockpit went black (just leaving rev/speed dials) All the other VC screens are fine - so not a LCD issue.
Popup screen seemed to have then reverted back to the normal build in Satnav maps.
Stopped off somewhere - came back to car - and now it seems to stay longer on the built in maps, (a good 5-7 minutes) before then popping up a Picture of Earth saying starting Google Earth and then staying like that (doesn't progress any further) - was a good half hour left like that.
Came out to the car this morning - and still doing the same.
I've checked the other data services (all appear to be fine) so don't think it's a Signal issue.
Anybody had similar/found a workaround/how to force reset the MMI system ? Or am I looking at a stealership vist (3rd one after having found scratches on handover)
Happy to be told I'm a numpty and need to do XYZ to fix it - before I have to make the call to the dealership.
Cheers,
seyre
