before i got my 03 audi a4 1.8t sport package i used to have a 03 GTI 1.8T and it was so much faster then the Audi the audi feels like a turtle i guess it really anit made for racing and its really havey. i also have a 00 celica GTS my GTI used to keep up with it but the AUDI lol no comment just wanted to post that lol and happy new year everyone

Lol, well as u say it is a much heavier car so thats probably the reason. u could always get it re-mapped to add a few extra bhp but itll cost u

Duh! The Audi is much heavier and the GTI is only pushing 2 front wheels.

I've heard that the 1.8T CVT FWD in the States is a pretty quick car but it's still a heavy pig.
