Door mirrors

Anybody know if the casing's and mirrors are interchangeable between pfl and fl door mirrors.

the whole mirror swaps over, but the glass and cover arent compatible as the mirror is a completely different shape.

The mirror guts are the same. I converted my pfl mirror caps and glass to fl with Matt chrome caps a year or so back. Undoing the mirror cap screws was a ****** though
