hi there,

Looking to get the piggy mod done on my s4 b6 cab 2005 tiptronic. Am finding it hard to find someone in the southeast uk to do the mod for me as I haven't got the garage space at present. Looking for advice on whether this is the right thing to do or go with a cat less downpipe ? Ideally I'd like to keep the main cats in place but am open to suggestions. I know that due to the age of the cats already the flexi pipe might be weak on removal.

Depends if you want to butcher the pre cat or not. Personally I wouldn't, I'd rather take them out and put new segments in, or get new downpipes wiith no pre cat.
If you're looking for power you should get rid of the pre cats ASAP as they'll rob you of 'free' power, IE that is to say you don't need to enhance the engine, just give it a less restrictive air flow out of the engine.

Thanks both for the reply, very helpful,

I did try to look for the miltek replacements but all the suppliers I rang said they only had the pipes for the manual version not the tiptronic

Adamss24, awesome, let me know when your free and how much it'll cost

Kind regards

Duncan
