EPS Light comes on intermittently

Hi,
I had this issue with my Audi A4 Cabrio (B7) Petrol where the EPS warning light intermittently comes on after I have driven for a bit. It is more frequent in the winters than summers. I took it to the lcoal garage and they said since it is not on when I start the engine they can use the VAG Com.

I have a B6 tdi and my esp light cane on intermittently. I changed the brake pedal switch and its never come back on.

Yes, a few forums I have seen said it could be the Brake Pedal switch or the Steering Angle sensor

Well go with the brake switch first. It's very cheap and easy to fix. The steering sensor is fiddly and you'll need to code the ABS module after. Well, I had to when I took my angle sensor off to fit cruise. Plus a new one is £££.

Seen the DIY tutorial online so hoping it will be easy for someone novice like me to do it on my own
