Audi a3 1.8t no speedo

Hi can any 1 help i have a 2003 audi a3 with speedo not working every thing on the cluster works in another car and so does the sender in the box is there a wire some where that could be at fault or something else please help

Speed sensor sender wire may be broken along the line somewhere, or possibly the sensor pick up inside the box is damaged, have you tried another speed sensor?

It did come up with speedo sensor but tryed it in another car works fine tryed all the clocks in another car they work fine to i am puzzeled
