I had strange issue yesterday. Where i turned the ignition on everything was fine, got the usual dash lights and the interior lights and then suddenly everything went coplete dark.
Nothing in the car would work that would require electicity. I took the key out and tried again but this time it was like dead car.
The battery had voltage 12.52 which should be fine. I took both terinals off the battery and refitted them (didn't get the usual spark) but now the power seemed to have returned.
Anyone know what this could be?
I had similar issues with relay 109 which controls high pressure pump. It worked interittently but eventually gave up (car cranks forever).
Car: TDI 81w 1999.
