HI guys, I've just noticed this morning a small patch under the car. I had a look under the car and noticed that it was coming through the plastic between the front right wheel and the front bumper. I managed to get some on my finger it is very light in texture and oderless. The coolant in the car is pink so I'm guessing it probably that but could it be transmission fluid only it didn't seem that oily. I'm not an expert on transmissions or anything like that so I'm not too sure. The car in question is a s3. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

If a tiny drop on your finger tastes sweet it is antifreeze.
Park it over some clean newspaper and see if it does it again.

Might be screen wash too depending on what you have in there.
Coolant is a very sweet smell

It's stopped leaking at the moment I've had it ticking over also just to see if that makes it leak which has also made no difference. Would it have to be in drive for it to leak transmission fluid?

Transmission fluid seriously stinks, and it's the other side of the car.

Oh hang on you're saying right, when looking towards the front of the car?

It's the drivers side so the left if I'm looking at it head on.

Cheers guys I'll probably just take the plastic under tray off tomorrow if I get chance to try and find the source of the leak asking as its not transmission fluid. I just don't want to do any major damage through driving it.

Keep any eye on the coolant level too, to be sure.
