Annoying 3.2 manual hesitation!

hey guys,

Had my 3.2 a couple of days and it has an annoying hesitation. It idles perfectly, but under light acceleration it hesitates slightly on constant throttle. On hard throttle it also hesitates and doesn't pull as it should.

I have pulled the coils one at a time and all change engine note so don't think its that, MAF has been cleaned.

It has an AMD map, standard filter and just back box changed.

Any advice welcome as google only shows up a common DSG fault but as said mines manual so its 100% engine related.

forgot to add, if you hold the revs at 2k it bounces between 1800-2000rpm

It's the infamous hesitation @2k revs issue that affects some of the 3.2 V6's
There is a fix for it on the manual as well as the dsg depending on your ECU type and software revision code and It is engine related not gearbox
However search for A3 3.2 gearbox judder hesitation and you should find it
