Speedo needle jumping

It's done this a few times lately and will usually stop working after a while, fault code: 16885

Is the vehicle speed sensor different to the engine speed sensor? and where abouts is it located

is that the sensor you can see if you look up toward the bottom of the TIP/turbo if your head is behind the sub frame?

I had this same problem once before on. It turned out to be a bad earth, specifically the earth bolted to the top of the cam cover between the coil packs.
