Fault codes diags after remap - Star Performance

Can fault codes be read from the diagnostics port following a remap of the ECU?

I have a OBDII diagnostics reader and everytime I try and connect and attempt to read any errors it come back as "Error". It makes me wonder if the remap on the ECU has altered codes and that they are unreadble and even more so if the fault codes will even display anymore in dash or on a reader?

Its a star remap done via the dual port systems (Very pleased with remap). I have had it for around 3 weeks and just wanted to know if the car has logged any fault as a result.

IMO a remap should touch anything like that.

Yeh it was working fine prior to the re-map. Its possible it could be the reader but i guess i wont know until i try another reader if I can get hold of one.

If there was likely to be a serious fault I guess the car wont run smoothly?

Have you had yours read following remap?
