will facelift headlights from an A3 fit into a pre-facelift without any hacking of the bodywork, i think i read somewhere that S3 lights need hacking up but wondering if this was also true for facelift A3s?

I dont have pics of what was removed, but its basically a bit of metal thats between the indicators and main housing on the pre-facelift, which isnt there on the post facelift. Its pretty simple. You also need to make yourself a loo which is really easy. Just requires some parts from Audi (plugs and cables) and then some soldering. Not hard at all!

Just i see they are from Germany, & they drive on the 'wrong' side of the road compared with us brits, lol.
Are the available anywhere in the UK?
Many thanks, Pete.

I'm thinking about the same thing, but did you purchase your facelift's from that seller? Can you enlighten me about the quality, fit and look of those lights as the price looks veeery interesting
Thanks
rich, what sort of bulbs do those lights use? would i still need to cut some of the outer wing to make them fit like the OEM ones?RichA3Turbo said:Hi,
They are pattern replacement OEM parts. The quality is that of OEM basically! You would never be able to tell from looking at them that they arent OEM.
And yes i got them from this seller. They got to me in 2 days from Germany!
Rich

I'm taking some pics for Peter later on today. I will remove the loom i made from teh car and take some detailed pics fro you. I will also try and dig out the part numbers that are required for you. I think i'll make it a sticky topic too.
Cheers
